LIFE VISION

Our life goal is to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, all of our soul, all of our strength, all of our mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Luke 10:27). God has anointed us to bring good news to the poor. He has sent us to comfort the brokenhearted and to announce those who are bound will be released, the blind will see (both spiritually and naturally), those who are down and out will be freed and that the time of the Lord's favor has come! (Isaiah 61 & Luke 4:18-19 italics mine) Our inheritance is in Jesus and in turn we are His inheritance! He also has given us the nations as an inheritance (Psalm 2:8). Our heart is to take the overflow of the love we have for Jesus and do whatever He asks us to do. To stop for the one in front of us, no matter where we are in the world. We lay our lives down for the One who is altogether lovely and worthy of all things. We want the world to see who God really is through His Son, Jesus, and experience His love and power through the demonstration and guidance of His Holy Spirit. We desire to see the Kingdom of God break through all hinderances and manifest here on earth.

As a couple, we desire to let our love for each other be a witness to those we meet and illuminate the saving love of Jesus. Our goal is to function "as one" in all that we do. God's perfect image is seen not in man or woman alone, but in male and female together (Genesis 1:27). As we co-labor together, with each other and Christ, we desire to fulfill the destiny God has created for our lives in touching the world around us for His Glory alone.

Nothing makes up happier than seeing people come to know God through His Son, Jesus, and seeing their lives transform from sadness to joy, from darkness to light and then discipling these same people into the full measure of their destiny in God. We love to watch God heal the sick, set those who are depressed/oppressed free, open eyes of the blind and cause the deaf/mute to hear/speak. Our hearts contend to see more of His manifested Glory throughout the earth.

Our desire is to serve as Jesus served - not by flash or fame - but by helping others reach their full destiny in Jesus.

Our hearts cry along with the Moravian missionaries:
"May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!"

For Jesus is our reward...and He makes us His reward.  "I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine"  Song of Songs 6:3
